Private Events at The Grove Bierhall

The Bierhall

Located in St. Louis' Grove neighborhood, we utilize this brewery as the source of most of our beer production and packaging. The Bierhall is outfitted with rows of large communal tables and a bar that is over 100 feet long! Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating on our terrace.

Happy Hours at the Grove Bierhall

Looking for a happy hour spot? Our Bierhall is great for walk-in groups of up to 30 people. No reservation fee required, but we ask that you call us at 314-222-0143 to notify us if you are bringing a large group.

Partial Bierhall

This is a great space for weddings, happy hours, and celebrations of up to 120 guests. Catering available through Fordo's Killer Pizza with advance notice. Beers may be purchased at the main bar. This space does not include a private bar/bartender.

THE TERRACE

Our elevated, outdoor terrace is located near the back of the Bierhall and overlooks The Grove neighborhood. Catering available through Fordo's Killer Pizza with advance notice. Beers may be purchased at the main bar. This space does not include a private bar/bartender.

The Schnickelfritz Room

Host your next meeting at UCBC and make it a happy hour afterward! This space is equipped with a projector, microphone, and speakers and seats up to 60. This space has hosted many wedding showers, baby showers, and birthday gatherings as well! Catering available by Fordo's Killer Pizza with advance notice. Beer and drinks available at the main bar. This space does not include a private bar/bartender.

ZWICKEL LOUNGE

A cozy, casual, semi-private lounge area perfect for game watching & happy hours. Pool table, shuffleboards, and Golden Tee all included.

Catering available through Fordo's Killer Pizza with advance notice. Beers may be purchased at the main bar. Available with or without a dedicated server.

The Stammtisch Room

Perfect for your happy hour, celebration, or to watch the game, this event space features 5 televisions, a private bar and bartender, and it is connected to our front patio.

Up to 70 guests. Catering available.

Rental includes a minimum beverage spend (pre-tax and pre-gratuity).

Beverages

We are proud to serve your favorite UCBC beers, as well as wine, a limited cocktail menu, and non-alcoholic beverages including Excel Sodas, UCBC's sparkling Hop Water, and our new Pilot N/A Lager.

Food

Catering and counter-service food are available.

Please Note: 

We will require a credit card on file to reserve an event space. In the case you need to cancel with less than 2 weeks advance notice, you will be charged a cancelation fee.

A service charge of 20% will be added to all tabs over $200. Beverage minimums must be met before tax and gratuity is added.

For minimum spend rentals, only beverages purchased from the taste room for consumption during your event are counted toward the min. spend. Packaged beer, gift cards, and retail items do not count toward the min. spend.

With the exception of full location rentals, private rental spaces are reserved for up to a 4-hour duration.
