While Märzen was the first bier style revelers toasted at Munich’s grandest festival, about a half century ago the brewers of Munich began lightening up the profile of the celebratory fall favorite to give patrons a bier that is decidedly paler in color, and a touch less filling. FestBiers, a stronger version of Helles Lager, now dominate the tents of Munich Oktoberfest, allowing festival goers to celebrate longer and stronger than ever before! UCBC is excited to bring our FestBier to you, giving you a lighter option to toast this Fall.
