Urban Chestnut's Midtown Biergarten Partners with Niche Food Group's Brass Burger for Spring Residency

Niche Food Group, the hospitality group from James Beard Award-winning Chef Gerard Craft, and St. Louis-based Urban Chestnut Brewing Company announce Brass Burger’s spring residency at the brewery’s Midtown Biergarten location (3229 WashingtonAvenue, St. Louis, MO 63103). Urban Chestnut’s current food operations ended Sunday, Feb. 11 to prepare for the transition. Brass Burger, the concept that centers around the group’s beloved burger from Brasserie by Niche, expanded to include additional sandwiches and snacks and is also served at St. Louis’ new soccer stadium, CITYPARK. Brass Burger at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company will be available starting on Friday, March 1, 2024 through June 2024. Brass Burger’s hours of operation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7p.m.

“We’ve had a long standing relationship with the Urban Chestnut team, and we’ve always talked about finding the right way to work together,” says Niche Food Group Executive Chef and Owner Gerard Craft. “They serve some of the best beer in town, and the patio is incredible, so we’re happy to have found a new home for Brass Burger here.”

Brass Burger’s menu includes their famous Brass Burger with simple toppings of American cheese, dijonnaise, dill pickle, and onion, along with their Fried Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken, arugula, house pickles, hot honey, crystal aioli). Sides include their House Salad (mixed greens, pickled red onions, dried cranberries, bleu cheese, red onion vinaigrette); Caesar Salad; Moonbase Chili (beef chili with jalapeños and cotija cheese); Shoestring Fries; and Companion Pretzels (served with whole-grain mustard and beer cheese). Guests can also indulge in rotating seasonal soft serve.

“We take the quality of our beer seriously, and we are thrilled that Niche Food Group’s Brass Burger is here to take the Midtown experience to the next level,” says David Wolfe, Co-Founder of Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. “It’s great to partner with an old friend on this as well. Gerard and I have been in this game for along time, and it’s fun to finally do something together.”
